Annapolis has a lot of history, and is actually a cool place to visit. (Naval Academy.)
Havre de Grace is a lovely little town.
Chesapeake Bay used to be nice, but not so much anymore...
Ocean City is one of the most popular areas.
Howard County/Ellicott City is the definition of an upper-class suburban area in the US, and is almost-famous for their academic successes.
College Park is probably one of the nicest college towns in the country.
Baltimore has history and modern successes, and is home to places such as the Domino's Sugar plant.
Fort McHenry- birthplace of star-spangled banner.

There is a nice Aquarium in Baltimore. Its worth a visit. So is the Baltimore Maritime Museum they have various interesting ships there to explore. Oh, and the B&O railroad... so you can say you've been there next time you play monopoly.
