Yes to harbor the coco bean in Africa! they aren't the only ones either you be surprise if you continue to check out some of the Bangladesh men whom work dismantling old ships from the united states with there bare hand and what tools??~! the work slave labor and with nothing to show for this they live horrendous and cannot leave and were promised great pay and left home for the dream of they searched for to be abandoned there with no way to get home and remember now they owe for travel and all sorts of things and living conditions are in small rooms where 4 men sleep on bunk beds shameful I tell you really! am the USA keep sending the allowing the slave owner to purchase the ships for the medal for the medal shame right much the living conditions are horrendous - AND OH GUESS WHERE THE OLD SHIPS COMES FROM! they are the worlds ship grave yard! and young men are made to do this horrendous work and many die too and the man whom run this operation is did to the Indians just what the slave men did to the African promise broken all of them.
research this and contact me with the facts or on anything else you may find alright

Well - they don't really have slaves themselves. They buy their cocoa through an international exchange - and some of the cocoa- mixed with a bunch of other cocoa - comes from the Ivory Coast area - where slavery does happen. It would be hard (but not impossible) for Nestle to absolutely trace where all the cocoa comes from and make sure no slavery was involved. I'm sure that if the consumers demand it - it will happen.

Also - it's not just Nestle - it's also Cadbury and Mars.

What do you think - that we as consumers - should do?

YOu mean US citizens paid $5.50 an hour with no benefits. Yes, savage!

I used to live down the street from them in Glendale where they employed all sorts of slave laborers in suits who manned their computers for $100,000 a year at a big glass building on Glendale Blvd just down from the mall!

my cousin used to work with nestle nz...and she enjoy it...especially the chocolates
