The families went through enough legal battles in court to make the ultimate decision "legal" by law. Morally however, no one can say for sure. Personally I think Terry was killed in a very inhumane way. She was left to starve to death...it's terrible what they did to her.

The decisions about and for Terry Schiavo should have been left to her husband. Morality doesn't enter into the equation.
And, yes, it was legal.

Whether it was legal or morally correct are two different things. The law is black and white(of course it gets circumvented all the time) whereas morally correct is a matter of whose morals you are referring to.

It was a fight between her husband and her parents. It was the kind of legal/medical argument that probate courts have to deal with when a person is disabled without leaving clear written instructions. For Congress to pimp itself to the perceived desires of the religious right by interjecting itself into that process was wrong. A true conservative, one who believes in a limited federal government, was appalled by Congress' lack of integrity.

Yes and yes. The court decided because the family could not agree.

Though I disagree with the court and the husband, I believe it was legal.
