Lack of logical set-up.
Where things physically are, is a problem at busy times, it's like we are all climbing over each other.
And the lack of a strong support staff, like bussers and dishwashers.
If everyone did their job in an efficient manner we would all have a much easier time.
But after 20 years in the biz I guess I still can learn to "deal".

Slipping on the restaurant floor and breaking my back.
Customers asking for re-cooked meals.
Short changing the cash register.
Lazy co-workers who don't clean their table sections.
Cooks with bad tempers.
Bosses with stinky attitudes.

And the most difficult?

Having taxes taken out of your small paycheck or claiming your tips on taxes. That's just the worst.

I've worked at McDonalds and the first couple of weeks, I sucked. When i saw other new people, the first couple of weeks, they sucked, and looked really overwhelmed. It's a very fast pace, and can get confusing. Give it some time.

Every restaurant has that one stupid manager. You know...the one that thinks he knows everything, but he couldn't tell you the capital of the state he lives in.

The heat, slow bartenders, slow dishwashers, a**hole bosses, being yelled at by the kitchen, stupid customers, kicking out drunks, and lazy co-workers.
