rite now im goin 2 have 2 say Tracy McGrady. Ever since Yao Ming went out, he has the Rockets poised 2 make a playoff push in the second half, with his ridiculous scoring. Also possibly Kevin Martin from the Sacramento Kings.

I think most of the people who have already answered are giving the best offensive players. If you want the best all-around player, look at either Josh Howard or Tim Duncan. They both play excellent defense and are great scorers as well. That's what makes a great "all around" player.

Obviously D-wade and Kobe Bryant. Lebron James is not there yet, he has years to go before he get to D-wade and kobe level. Plus he has to win a championship before he can get called the best player in the league.

D-Wade and Kobe are the best right now because they have the talent AND the hunger to be the best like MJ did. Guys like LeBron, Carmelo. KG, T-Mac, and A.I. have the talent but they don't have that intangible needed to win championships.
