I would really appreciate a second opinion on this paper, it is only 2.5 pages, not a long read.

The best way to proofread your paper for yourself is read it out loud. You'll hear every awkward sentence, every misplaced punctuation mark and see every misspelling as you read.
If your paragraphs are in the wrong order, you'll find that out, too, and can re-organize the paper.
Professional writers in every field routinely do this with their own work. The ear hears what the eyes cannot see.
