Who thinks Grey's anatomy was very lame tonight?
Was meredith purposely committing suicide by not swimming and getting out of the water?

I think Meredith most likely hit her head, was knocked unconscious, and was not trying to commit suicide :) It was definitely lame at the end with the whole "dead scene". Didn't care for this at all. If they kill her off, it might have the same ending as the O.C.

No. Meredith was wading or so it seems saying that she is not ready to drown, to die to go away and the next thing you know she is seeing images of her mother and her friends and of Derek and she is struggling to keep afloat with her ruber gloves on her hand and her tennis shoes on her feet and then she is under water.
If you remember the last episode she swore she was not trying to drown herself then. This was no different now. Of course who know if she even knows how to swim? Some people don't.
At any rate it was not lame but I could have done with out the out of body ending. I would have preferred she get amnesia to hypothermia and have to live a day in the life of her mother.
It would have been more interesting.

i think i remember hearing in one of my health classes that with hypothermia patients their heart will stop beating for a short time to prevent brain damage. i have no idea if i am right but she is def not going to die. she is the main char and even if she were going to die she would have a more dramatic death than getting pushed into the water... and it wasnt lame. grey's is always amazing.

I didn't think that it was really lame, but I did think that they were really trying to stretch it out into 3 episodes. I do not think that she was purposely committing suicide, but we probably will find out next week.

The worst part of greys anatomy is meredith grey. she is possibly the worst actress on tv. kill her off! rename the show if needed.

Talk about lame, with water that cold, your body goes into hypothermia quickly. It makes it so you cannot swim. It's a television show, not a reality show, get over it.

yeah it was pretty lame, no way would she have a chance of surviving after that long in the water... and now we have to wait another week just to see if she makes it (which i'm sure she somehow will)

i didn't think it was lame, but i warn: killing off meredith grey would do for grey's anatomy what killing off marissa cooper did for the oc. i'm just sayin'.

it was not lame u ninny, she was stunned and almost drowned. we will see her get revived next week....

its always good, i think. im pretty sure that she was in shock. she has hypothermia, have some sympathy!
