algae, and extra fish food. also plants in the tank sometimes. it's important to provide them with fresh vegetables like cucumber slices, zucchini slices, and most green vegetable with a high calcium content.

When I had some, I used to feed them zucchini and melon. The zucchini was a regular diet: one slice a day. Live it in the water for upto an hour, after that it might produce fungi. You can buy some clips that anchor to the tank, othewise the zucchini will float upwards. The melon was just a treat for now and then. Though I doubt they get the same enjoyment that we humans do from eating sweet things.

Snails eat all food that you feed the fish plus algae,as long as it;s soft enough for them to suck into their mouths.
