I have an upcoming work function that is formal however it has a pirate theme. (it's the fun ball as opposed to the serious one later in the year) I have the option of wearing a formal dress or costume. I've just started seeing a guy who's going too so I'm not crash hot on the idea of wearing full costume (cos I want to look hot) but still want ot have a bit of fun. Any ideas? (Any websites with suggestions would be excellent too)

Try a little black dress, but one that has more of the feel that would go with pirate

Sounds so fun and cool. Check out www.womenshelp.net! They have a bunch of awesome links to great outfits for alot less money than normal stores. I would go with a nice black dress some sexy wrap up heels and an eye patch or something light hearted and fun like that. Check out www.the15dollarstore.com for awesome little black dresses...they have one that is perfect for the pirate theme..once you see it you will know what I am talking about!
