THere are certainly a large amout of models that are prettier, but Beyonce isn't just pretty she's talented too. I think that Sports Illustrated should look to not just models anymore anyways because Supermodels no longer exist like they used to. The magazine has to sell plus Beyonce took the top spot as the hottest woman in the country by a men's magazine anyways, so why not?
Plus her Sports Illustrated spread was gorgeous.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Most everything in this world, unfortunately, boils down to sex and money. She's a pretty girl and can sing a tune. I suppose if SI doesn't have some written agreement that only supermodels should be on the cover and in the issue, then any opposition is unfounded!

Beyonce is popular and trendy right now, so that why they pick her. But she shouldn't have been on the cover, their were plenty of deserving beautiful models black and white who waited to get the cover. Beyonce is not a supermodel, besides the cover looks average and plain to me.

Beyonce isn't a model, she's singer and now an actress. That's what gets her on other magazine covers. It should have went to an up-and-coming model. It's what makes modeling careers. Beyonce is already famous, and has no place on the SI cover. In my opinion.

She is great looking for a singer but a lot of professional bikini models blow her away.
