That'd be Dick Pole. By the way, he's also an upstanding person and a fine coach for the Giants. The name would not be enough without the nice person that he is, which makes it even better. Dick Pole.

That's a tough question, because the players I hate for the person they are I don't want on the team. What makes it easier is if I look at it as players I hate to come up against. I've always hated coming up against Johann Santana, I'm sick of it already. But I'd love him if he was a Brewer. BQ: Playing the Cubs tonight. Wells=3.06 ERA vs Bush 5.88 ERA. Hoping for a better game than last night, embarrassing...I'm going to say yes anyway. Cubs and Brewers match up well despite their records (which are really close at the moment). It's the Brewers turn to win. Edit: Looks like it's not the Brewers turn, though Prince got #41! Well, it's only the second-there's time.

Bucky Dent (sounds like a beaver in a car accident)
Bill Buckner (If you're a Yankees fan, you'll understand)
Gaylord Perry (I'm not going there)
Milton Bradley (makes me wanna go shopping for my daughter)
Coco Crisp (makes me grab a snack while watching the game)
Rollie Fingers (appropriately ironic)
Graig Nettles (love hearing people call him Craig)
Reginald Martinez Jackson (we all know the story behind that one)
Billy Martin (nothing special about the name, just the association)
Miller Huggins (sounds like from another time period!)
Mariano Rivera (the game is in the bag)

and the one announcers screw up the most:
J.J. Putz

Rollie Fingers is the best and the fact that he was a pitcher makes it sound even better.

My favorite player is Willie "Stretch" McCovey. All class.

I have to agree with waynec, Dick Pole is my favorite baseball name. Talk about sounding like a pornstar.
