You couldn't prevent it and it would hurt the economy I'd think. Your thoughts please.

Yes but they won't it would hurt their goals. Why?
Its simple, look at the way Americans responded right after 9/11, we were pissed and we weren't gonna take it. Everyone wanted them hunted down and destroyed. The reaction the terrorists got was much worse than they expected, they expected us to be soft and scared. If Americans were subjected to regular organized attacks you would see a much more aggressive populace that would be more willing to suffer hardships(like higher prices and solders deaths) than they are when the battle is else where and it doesn't really have an effect on their day to day lives.

Yah about this.. Someone once mentioned to me - if terrorists really hated regular citizens and their freedom, why aren't they bombing apartment buildings every day?

I thought, wow, now wouldn't that cause way more fear than 9/11 ever dreamed of causing.

I figured, because Terrorists aren't against regular people, they are against suppressive global dominating governments that put everyone in a mess and sell bombs to the countries they war with to further the war machine profiteering. And targets are government based, economy based which is run by the huge corporations that dominate the earth, so... terrorists mustn't be against regular people, they are against the big wigs. But what do I know?

Frankly I don't understand why Wallmart's never been hit by a terrorist attack but w/e.

For that matter, why not load up a truck with explosives, drive to the middle of some long and very busy bridge, stop the truck, scare people off then blow up after the media arrives. Major economic damage, high profile, minimum of casualties. I'd think a high profile spectacle would be equally effective as any high casualty attack.

Yes they could at any moment, and it isn't interesting that they never have. At the same time Bush/Cheney have been feeding our fears over 9/11, telling us every few months how afraid we should be with those silly color coded danger alerts, they have been systematically working to open our borders with Mexico and Canada by signing the deal for the North American Union. http://www.freedom.org/naugreen2/player.html
They would only do this if they were not afraid we would be attacked. This begs the question why are we worried if they are not?

Yes, they could. It is a very sobering thought. As far as the economy goes, 9/11 did not cripple us, I don't think random acts would really have that big of an effect.

Yeah America is still in 2001 mode right after 9/11. While the whole world is six years ahead. It's like America is frozen in september 11th/01.

Yep, strap bombs on, vials of nerve gas, poison water supplies, the list can go on and on and on and on..............shopping malls, football stadiums, NASCAR tracks, 4Th of July celebrations, baseball stadiums, and the list goes on and on and on and on.....if liberal politicians are going to allow this to happen, then not much any of us can do about it, other than make sure they are not in control of anything.

The reason Al Qaeda hasn't acted is because they don't want to come out with an attack that is smaller in scale than 911, they want to get bigger and more deadly.

Sure could. They have enough sleeper cells in-country to do it now. don't know why it hasn't started. I do believe the shooting in Utah is terrorist related even though FBI says no

Yes. I am surprised we haven't had that happen already. But I think they want to do something really big, like cripple the whole country.
