Well, it looks like I'm not the only one not to know. There doesn't seem to be a concensus, and I'm not overly persuaded by any one answer, so will leave it up to the voters to decide.

Better check your sources . . . I'm a woman and I absolutely adore gay male sex- it turns me on to no end.
Considering the fact that yaoi and shonen-ai (gay male Japanese manga comics) are produced primarily by straight women, and, more surprisingly, targeted AT straight women, that most slash fiction (gay male pairings in heterosexual pre-existing media) and slash fanvideos are created by young straight girls, I think that this 'fetish' is becoming a growing trend.
But yes, you're right; a majority of straight men enjoy the concept of lesbian sex, whereas only a significantly smaller number of straight women enjoy gay male sex. Why? Well, I imagine it's probably because gay male sex is treated as much more "permanent" than lesbian sex. In many straight men's minds, lesbians or bisexual women are just waiting for the right man to come along; their sex is nice, but they're expected to really want men and straight sex underneath. Two men, together, however, are never seen as straight, and hardly ever bisexual, either- people assume they're gay and women assume they're out of bounds. It goes down to the rooted fear that a man might turn out to be gay for a woman who loves him- something that happens quite a bit. Moreover, in most lesbian porn that I see produced (targeted at men), it is shown very much as some inept stroking, nothing serious. Gay male sex in porn, however, is very serious; anal sex and so on.
I suppose it just comes down to different aesthetics.

Well, I can understand it because gay porn has some pretty good looking men in it. If straight men can be turned on by lesbian porn, I don't see why straight women shouldn't be turned on by gay porn. There is actually a genre of Japanese manga/anime (comics) which has gay male characters in it, but is meant for a female audience. Apparently there are a lot of Japanese women and girls who like comics about "boy love". This genre is very distinct from the gay comics meant for a gay audience.

The porn industry has caused a major diservice to many people....
One, it depicts women in a very subservient role, two, it gives many men a false sense of what women actually enjoy in the "real" world.
Long story short, men enjoy the idea of two women because advertising has taught them that it is what they should like.
If magazines, movies etc... marketed the images of two men being together as sexy then women would enjoy that as well.
Advertising has a profound place in determing what you like whether you know it or not:)

Men are more visually arousable than women. I guess that explains the love of lesbian porn over gay porn.
Many straight guys are disgusted by male genitalia, and like lesbian sex as an outlet to avoid the sight or thought of the penis. (Or maybe they are intimidated by the size of the package in question...) Women, on the other hand, are more accepting of natural beauty. And, to be honest, women have a more naturally beautiful body than men do.

Because men just wish they were in on it...... and most women do not like anal sex so why would they want to see 2 me, when one prick is enough! Not to mention I think most women lie about NOT liking to see 2 men!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because guys are visual creatures that get off watching girls get it on. Watching guys have sex really does nothing for most women.
