not being a pouplr girl?

im 13 and in the middle school still...im not pouplr at all and i sometimes get made fun of..i dont want 2 bring a purse because they would think i would try to copy them....all my teachers love me and i really dont know what to do..any advice?

I am sorry that you are not more popular and know how it hurts.
The important thing is that you have at least one or two friends and outside interests. Try to become close to one or two people in your school. The quality of the friendship is much more important than the quantity of friends you have.
Dont' worry about "copying" other girls. If you want to bring a purse because you feel it makes your life easier, than do it.
If your teachers love you, than you most likely are a good student. That says a lot about your character. Try to be relaxed around people and they will learn to like you.
This stage you're going through is very awkward and not much fun, but you will get through it. Just make the best of it now. As long as you have someone to talk to you will be OK. Try to also find an adult that you trust to talk to. It would be great if you were close to your mom, if not an aunt, older sister, even a teacher is a good mentor for you.

Those girls are stupid as hell if they think you are copying them by bringing a purse. That's like saying you are copying them if you wear deodrant, shower, or wear a bra. They need to grow up because they don't see how stupid they sound or look. When they get in high school, their attitudes will get knocked out of them so fast they won't know what hit them. They may be the sh*t now, but they won't be in high school or college. Trust me, I'm in highschool and I could care less about them. It's better to not be popular, in my school 3 populars have died and got paralyzed, and most are dumb as a bat and on drugs. I'm the smart one that has my own friends and works on my school instead of working on my social life. Because of all my work, I'm the one graduating a year early while they can barely graduate. They are stupid, so pay no attention to them. If they think you copy, tell them they are so immature, and it's not copying. Almost every woman carries a purse, so I guess you could look at it as them copying. They should get a clue and a life. I know exactly how you feel. I'm the same as you. Don't worry about it. Although you may feel unpopular, the girls that make fun of you are empty. You watch: in high school, it's likely their smoking will show (or if not, their total evilness) and the decent people will see through all that crap. Most people have just your problem, because although they may not show it on the outside, everyone feels that lonely sometime or another. Don't copy them, and continue to be your own person with your own style. Don't listen to those other people. You know, there are advantages to being loved by teachers. I wanted to switch out of gym, and even though everyone else had a hard time, I just had to ask. And in high school and college, with work you can have a fun, easy time while the others fail or struggle. Hang out with your own group, hang in through high school, and in college those groups disappear. You are not unpopular, you are just not stuck in a clique.

Don't worry about being popular. Be concerned about getting the best education you can for now. Friends will come to you when they see you are a dedicated student and do not concern yourself with popularity. Be yourself and make yourself the best person you can by learning as much as possible. Feeling pride in your self is more important then popularity. Never worry about what others may think or say, you know who you are. You shouldn't have to be popular for anybody! You are a true person if you become yourself. If you try to please other people you will be miserable and unhappy all the time. Those who make fun of you have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives. Don't worry about them. When I was in Junior High and High School I HATED those people. Don't be like them. i too was unpopular in school, got made fun of and was also very shy. your school years are just a small part of your life, just be yourself try not to let others bother you, ALL kids are worried about what others think, even the "cooler/popular" kids. just be happy with yourself, respect yourself, it says a lot about you when your teachers love ya (mine did too), you sound like you're a sweetheart. try not to worry too much about who is cool and who isn't, all i can say is what i've already said, just be yourself and don't worry about those foolish kids maybe get involved in a hobby or school event. always be nice to all, and i promise all will be fine!! good luck to you sweetie --you'll get through school in a flash and suddenly be an adult.

oh my gosh!! I was in the same exact situation as you when i was 13 now im jux 15. See, i was called fat and other names that hurt me bad so i hated school but the teachers called me sweet and an angel and what not. So i just started talking to ppl and bein more outgoing so if u want to bring a purse well go for it chick!! don't never worry about wat ppl think please! I started that and it worked so take my advice if u want. u mite hav heard many times but jux b u. on da real tho. You'll get somewhere.

Dont even worry about those girls, just think, everybody has to copy somebody all the time. They most likely carry purses cause they saw someone else do it. Just try to ignore them and focus on school now. Someday you will confident in yourself, (very soon!!!) and those girls will be copying you!!

People usually make fun of others because of their own insecurities… If you want to bring a purse to school, don’t bring one because everyone else has that brand.. bring one that shows your true colors.. Perhaps it’s the new purse that just came out in AE… or maybe that’s not your style.. maybe you’re into making your own purses… it shouldn’t matter. If they make fun of you, don’t allow them know it’s gotten best of you.. People make fun of people to make themselves feel better. You’re an amazing person and shouldn’t allow anyone to get to you. Bring a purse that you love, it doesn’t matter who else likes or dislikes it.
