What material is Alab? is it fire resistant? is it durable?

Alab is short for Alabastrite.It is a stone-based material used for figurines,table tops,crafts,etc.It is long-lasting but you clean it by dusting;dont add water,especially when it is painted on.Since this material can be dried under a kiln,i believe it should be fire resistant.Hope this helped!
