Its when you squeeze your muscles around your vaginal area. Like when you hold your urine. They are recommended after childbirth.

A Kegel exercise, named after Dr. Arnold Kegel, is an exercise designed to strengthen the pubococcygeus muscles. The exercises consist of the regular clenching and unclenching of the muscles which form part of the pelvic floor (sometimes called the "Kegel muscles").

Men can do them, but it's mostly aimed for women to prevent uterine prolapse and increase sexual pleasure. I'd like to think of it as exercises to make my vagina strong. RAR!!! ;)

Hmm, been doing them for awhile....wonder if I can open a jar of pickl....j/k

They are pelvis strengthening muscles that pregnant women perform.

One would lie on the floor (or a bed) on their back, with their knees bent. Then they would lift their pelvis up off the floor, hold for a count of five or ten (depending on who you ask), and then lower the pelvis to the floor again.

They work the pelvic floor muscles, making the vagina tighter/stronger. It is like stopping your urine flow while you are peeing, and then letting it go again. You just squeeze your vagina muscles. They really work :)
