I have just set up my web page with Discovery Toys and want to put it on searches ( I guess that is the way I state it ?, 56 year old here). I don't want to spend much, but would like to get good exposure, I need info you can offer to help me know how to do this and what to look for and how much to pay. I"ll take suggestions , thanks.

Be carful of 99% of the information you read elsewhere on the subject which will be misleading, out of date or just plain wrong.

WHICH searches?
That's almost question #1.
It has to be a search people actually use and also one that you have a chance of ranking for. There are good articles on that subject around; read them almost before you read anything else.
Oh -- once you pick your keywords, and the pages that will be optimized for each particular keyword (keyphrase, actually), have all your friends and family create links from their own personal sites to yours using your keywords.

You have to learn the craft of SEO (search engine optimization).
There are tons of tutorials on that issue all over the internet.
Another must is to start tracking all of the factors that affect your site's position, this can be done using SEO monitoring tools, a free one can be found at http://www.sheerseo.com

on your browswer.....Tools--->internet options---> delete history............ deleting cookies is also a good idea, and deleting temp files every couple months isnt a bad idea either....but then when u delete temp web pages you visit a lot will load a little slower then next time you visit them...then it will return to normal. ( it deletes the saved pics, vids, layouts for web pages, etc.)

Use free press release websites to get it out there. and search it your self everyday!! Also send it to everyone you know and everyone you can!
