I like Madeline better because I like the nickname Maddy better than Gabby. :) Both names are pretty.

I love the name Desiree because it means desired child. I like Gabrielle more than Madeline but I think Gabrielle was the most popular girls name the year my daughter was born. So if you want a not so common name why not somehow combined the two names into something you both like. Just a suggestion but you might ask Leah to help pick out the middle name so she doesn't feel left out. Good Luck

Madeline sounds very feminine. Gabrielle sounds like Gabriel. Madeline also sounds old-fashioned, like Leah. A very pretty French name. Rose would make a nice middle name

Lady Madeline or Gabrielle?
I like Madeline much more as it sounds quite sophisticated and feminine.
Screw worrying about nicknames. Not everyone gets a nickname - Samantha's can go through life without ever being called Sam or Sammy.

I like both the names they are cute. But i am more of an Abigaile type person. It's classic and not too trendy. Just like Gabrielle is which out of the two is what i would prefer.
