I had a ring stuck on my finger for about 3 minutes, was this enough to damage my finger? It really feels kinda numb now.

You're fine. Honestly, if it were causing damage you would know.

If oxygen cannot get to the cells they will die. Any type of restriction of blood flow to any part of the body can lead to cell death within 6 minutes. The larger the number of dead cells the larger the amount of damage. Fingers and toes have decreased blood flow and are therefore more susceptible to problems. (There are no large arteries here like there are centrally)
However you likely caused more pain and muscle trauma trying to get the ring off. There is probably bruising to the tiny muscles and vessels in your finger. Because of the decreased blood flow to hands and feet healing also takes a little longer. As long as the ring is off and you did not cut the finger trying to get it off it will probably heal up on its own. Within the first 24 hours apply ice every 20 minutes or so to keep the swelling down. (only keep the ice on for about 3 minutes at a time) The next day keep your hand warm to keep a good blood flow and help the healing process. If you notice any infection.......puss........black skin......get to the doctor.

no, the numbness will fade, but leaving a ring on that cuts off your circulation for an extended period of time can cause premanant damage to your finger

No, but if you would have left it on for longer, like hours, then it could have caused damaged.
