SNAP!!!!
I have 2 fur kids and they're not interested in toys much at all. Freddie LOVES tubes, my husband is a carpet fitter so we have access to the old carpet tubes and he realy likes them. He also likes the cat teasers you can get but that's about it really. Hattie couldn't care less about any toys, she is only interested in getting into mischief and finding the smallest hole to crawl into! Because of this I try and put things like old boxes, plastic and paper bags, anything smelly down on the floor for her to nosy at! They both do like towel rides though, just shake it at them and they dance and dook then jump on for a ride!!
Don't worry too much just keep trying things as long as they're not too expensive and anyways your ferret will love you the best cos you're his fave toy!! Good luck xx

Shallow box of crunchy leaves. Plastic bag with handles and bottom cut open. (Only play with this when you're around) Heavily scented toys. Noisy toys. Baby rattles and cat toys are best. Also you, you can play with her. At 7 I'm sure she knows the rule on biting and would enjoy a little rough and tumble with you. You can also get a cat crinkle tunnel. It makes loads of noise, and it very large so she wont feel confined. Try everything and see what she likes most. Change it around a lot too, she'll need new things to play with every two weeks so she doesn't get bored. (Make a rota of the toys of something)

Try paper balls, letting him swim in the bath tub, take him outside for walks on a ferret harness, empty boxes, little stuffed animals, and anything that is safe and you wouldn't think was a toy. Ferrets are like little kids they would rather play with the box the expensive toy came in than the toy. ^^

Hi, my ferret Noah is easily entertained with a pair of socks as you know they love feet! He is fascinated with an old pair of socks you can let him have them on his own or play a game of "tug of war" with a single sock. He also loves going under the covers on the bed and having you "roughhouse" with him while he is under there.
Noah also loves golf balls or an empty can (something that rolls like a red bull can or if you use deodorant spray an empty one of those is fun), he can also kill a half hour with the plastic shopping bags from the store, just keep an eye on them with those!

I TOO AM A FIRST TIME FERRET OWNER (AND LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT)...I HAVE A 1 YR 2 MONTH OLD MALE, RATHER LARGE...HE WAS RAISED WITH CATS, DOGS, AND KIDS. I GOT HIM FROM MY LOCAL HUMANE SHELTER. HE DOESNT BITE AND IT LITTERBOX TRAINED. (sorry about the caps i just looked up and saw them, and dont want to retype all this) anyway...his favorite "toys" arre the cats and my hands...the rougher the cats play the better he likes it...at first i didnt know who to be more concerned for, him or the cats, but then i realized that they just werent hurting each other.he wil "bite" my fingers, then cup them in his paws and hold them there for a bit. his bites never hurt. as to the non living toys...empty feed and litter sacks, paper sacks do seem to be his favorite, he loves to play in my haystack, and i have thought of making him a boc with a hole in it and filling it with shredded paper so he can play in it like he does the hay. i did notice him trying to bite the eyes and nose off of a bouncy/springy toy that is made for cats and hangs on a door knob...my kitties broke the string, so i tied it in his cage, and try as he might he couldnt get the buttens to come off, but he had a blast working on it.as with little kids, and cats...homeade toys seem to be liked the best, so instead of buying him things he wont play with, try different homade items, things that might be found if he were in the wild, maybe a rubber or wooden moving snake? i do hope this is a little help to you and i wish you the best, u can email me and i will be happy to share all i am learning with you plus i know some good sites i am a member of that is about ferrets.

Honest to God if you want something he's sure to get a kick out of get him his own kitten. They'll have a blast. If kitty's not an option you could try baby teething rings or baby shoes. Those are the only thing my ferret has any intrest in. She likes the soft rubber and knows it drives me crazy when I can't find my sons shoes (or mine sometimes) She hides them less now that the kitten keeps her busy. They even sleep in the hammocks together.

get your ferret his own box of cereal. i use cornpops and put only a handful of them in the bag at a time and give it to one of mine. he knows exactly where i keep the cereal in the bottom cupboard and opens it up and gets his cereal box out himself and plays and eats the treats. also you might want to open up the bottom drawer of your dresser and put things in there to attract his curiousity on what is in there. that seems to work well with another one of my ferrets. i also have a ferret that is like only 1 1/2 pounds and i put a box of toys on the floor (by them at goodwill for like 50 cents a piece) and let her go through them herself and she choose every toy that was a chicken or a bird of some sort and put them in her cage. 2 of the toys where about 5 times her size.LOL i also had a ferret RIP he like elmos, all sizes of them and o nly ELMO. one of my ferrets she only like to play with socks, so whwen i did laundry i put her on the bed with the clean socks and she 'helped" me with the socks. once a month i had to clean out under the couches looking for my socks but she is worth it. different strokes for different folks!!

my little girl is like that too. she didn't eat treats a first, now she does, sometimes especially furball treats. she didn't play w/ toys much, now she loves em (she's 5 months old)...thats good that she doesn't bite
try getting liquid ferretone...put it on ur finger and put it in huis mouth or hold him up and drop some in his mouth (he just doesn't know he likes it...my vet did that and she loved it after that)
toys...try socks and play fight with him
