Professionals prefer to marry the opposite sex for statues reasons. Correct? I sure love is there (raising my eyebrows). It's kinda like interracial dating when two people of different nationalities marry ...people may not come straight out pass judgements but behind their nonjudgmental look there is a question..a curiousity. So.. my question is are people afraid to date people from different class because of what other people may say or because they feel that by dating someone with less money will make them look bad?

For me, I would have felt just as out-of-place with a guy who lived in a mansion and rode in a limo as I would have with a guy who lived in his mom's basement and drove a junker.

Generally, people date within their own "class" because it is familiar -- that is what they are used to. They don't have to worry about learning a whole different way of life, adapting to a partner's values and culture, or dealing with awkward social situations. People tend to find mates that have similar upbringing and background -- it's easier to adapt to a life together then. That's why celebrities don't tend to marry people off the streets -- they have nothing in common and don't know how to act in the other person's environment.
