My roommate let a Blue Sharpie bleed on my white couch cover. Bleach didn't work and neither did oxyclean. Any ideas?

If the cover is removable and machine-washable, get some Xylol (also sold as a product called Goof-Off), which is a medium-strength solvent available at paint stores.

Wet the stain with it (only takes a tablespoon or so).

Rub Dawn dish washing liquid into the same area. Let stand for 30 minutes or so for solvent to evaporate and machine wash.

I got permanant marker off using dry erase board cleaner...but it wasn't on fabric...so I don't know how it would work. I got it at Walmart but they sell it at anyu office suply store for a few dollars.
The cleaner is made out of Isopropyl alcohol so that might work too.

You'll need to get a slip cover and a liner for it made, or you can dye your couch a dark blue or black. I would not be happy about that.

Onlight colored fabric I have had luck with fingernail polish remover. This also removes it off your skin, plastic and wood(just be careful it will lift the finish).

Sharpie is permanent, there is nothing that will take it out.
