"Connection" is everything. It helps that you know all or any of the "big shots". Then your chances of getting a mega contract is good. There are major government contracts awarded to businessmen who are connected with politicans. And if you're a bumiputra enterprenuer, you will be given preference over other races when it comes to government tenders & assistance. That's how we do things in Malaysia.

I know it doesn't sound good, but that's how it is. The current Pak Lah administration is trying to change this "connection" concept, going all out against corruption & urging transparency to all transactions. Credit to them for at least making that effort but how successful it's going to be remains to be seen.

Very simple lah, go join umno .And ask for government projects. You also must know to " bodek " a bit as advised by the umno president badawi himself. Or you can call up his son in law khairy for "business arrangement".
Everybody inside umno knows about this.
