Tim Hardaway used to belong to a basketball team in Miami, Florida. He said he hated showering with or being touched by gay male players in the locker rooms. Many people in the liberal media are portraying him as an intorelant bigot. Do Republicans hate him too? Is he really a bigot because of what he said?

Don't know him, but he sounds too honest for some people's PC. I wouldn't want to be showering with a lesbian and they probably wouldn't want to be showering with a man. That doesn't sound like bigotry. If he is intolerant on other things then he could be a bigot. As far as hate, I don't hate anyone. Hate is a strong word.

He suggested what many people regrettably imagine yet not in any respect say out loud. I actually have a brother-in-regulation who's gay. i have known him considering i grow to be 15 years previous. I married his sister who has considering gave up the ghost. he's an fairly solid guy. Has an effective heart and he's continually there if ever anybody needed some thing. i assume maximum persons do not have that type of contact with gay people so that they don't fairly comprehend what's that is all about. What Hardaway suggested i'm particular got here from his heart. that is how he feels. there'll be those who agree and persons that disagree. one aspect is for particular, he has killed any probability of having a renewed settlement with ESPN or the different activities community. they gained't contact him with a 10 foot pole now!!

I think he is entitled to his opinion, but he should be ready to deal with the consequences especially since he is a public figure.

I happen to be a republican, and i think his comments are wrong, but they are his opinions, I am sure I have opinions he would disagree with.

I also kind of pity him, and other people with that mind set.

it is truly a small person, who only looks at a person for what they are not who they are.

The world is full of great people, to dislike some one because they are gay or of a different race or from a different place is just wrong.

Shoot... if it wasn't for my gay friends, I can easily say my life would be a lot less interesting.

Maybe he doesn't like gays and that is that. I don't think he cares what a placating liberal media thinks. Liberal media moguls and politicians don't give a damn who they support so long as they get the vote.

What are you going to say... He doesn't have to the right to like or dislike anyone for any reason he sees fit?

Why pick on Hardaway- Let him hate anyone he wants- but arrest him if he hurts anyone. This country is turning into Cambodia I swear.

I think he spoke the truth, it's sad that religion has disappeared in our society and that the media believes that this is acceptable behavior. NBA banned him for speaking truth what a joke.

Hate is a strong word, but I would think he upset some people based on his comments about others' sexual preferences, not his voting preference.

For the Republics here on Y!A, anyone decried by liberals is automatically short-listed for the Vice Presidency on the GOP ticket. They'll flock to him now.
