I am looking to try out in the Arena Football Combine and was wondering if you have to have college or high school experience to play, or if you just can try out?

Negative, Ghost Rider.

You can get into their training camp and try out, if you're good enough, you get onto the team, same with any other league that i know of. Called Walk-Ons.

No, I've seen guys tryout for it that have no college and little high school experience. It will be hard to make a AFL team though, I would try an AFL 2 league team. Or a small indoor football league. Search on yahoo for indoor teams in your area. For example in Texas their is a league called the Intense Football League.

Well you probably need a little more pop warner football expereience to try out if you dont want to get your *** kicked. Remember, the Arena League may be one of the sights of NFL dropouts, but it still has great players, most of who played high school and college football. You arent going to stand a chance if you didnt play either.

No you can just try out. When they started an Arena 2 team here in Louisville (Louisville Fire), they held open tryouts. They prefer players that have experience but if you show them something they like they'll pick you up. If I were you I'd familiarize myself with some basic football drills they might have you do and run through some of these drills in order to prepare yourself.

Good luck!!

Oh and this guy ended up playing for the Saints with just one year's experience of high school football:
