How can I wake my wife up gently?

She is a deep sleeper and it often takes me an hour or so to get her up in the morning. How can I wake her quickly and without pissing her off?

Buy her an alarm clock. She is an adult, she can wake herself up.

Through a bucket of water over her........that should work!!!
