My friend is 300 pounds and people treat her TERRIBLE....especially men.she is so sweet and kind and is constantly being made fun of.Also she is trying to find a man but they will not even talk to her let alone get to knoe her.Where are all the men that like big women? And why aren't big men treated as bad as women?It is just really sad when you have to make fun of another person.

I knew a guy I was working with who loved fat women loved it, partial to it.
And there was an "800lbs" woman working in the Starbucks -- you know way bigger than your friend who probably still has curves; this woman was like a svweaty block :: And I said "hey Kali nice girl for you'' and he said, "What kind of man would want that!"
I don't know if that helps, good for your fat friend (she probably still has sex appeal); but bad for the broad at the Starbucks.
She shouldn't give up there are guys like Kali who love fat women!
P.S., And believe me there are guys out there for the chick at Starbucks. It'll be okay.

Because we live in a hypocritical society. It has become a 'norm' in society that women should be skinny, and beautiful at all times. This message has been infested on the young brains of today that they feel the need to critique others who are not to that 'standard'. Its so sad, and i worry for my future children growing up in a pressurised society where looks is everything especially with women. I have just turned 18 and believe me i know what im talking about.

Life is unfair.
Men put more emphasis on the looks of the opposite sex than women do. Women are more affected by words and actions.
That is why men's weight doesn't seem to have as much of an effect.
Personally, I think women are not overweight as soon as they think they are! And women tend to accuse others of being overweight, because the style setters have decided that skinny as a toothpick is ideal weight. Personally, as a man, I don't find that look very attractive. Generally, a healthy weight is also attractive.

Also, men are much less sensitive to other people's feelings. because they tend to be more self-centred.

I dont think its right first off. Overweight is overweight. I think its that men are not really beautiful creatures to begin with, and women are the image of perfection.
