someone has told me that to use a 50:50 mixture of vinegar and water and clean them that way. the uggs show a visible white film with the salt on it.

ignore the third answer. combat boots are NOTHING like uggs. uggs are made out of delicate suide. try using cool water if you water-proofed them which you are supposed to do as soon as you purchase them. also, try GENTLY rubbing at the spot with sandpaper

If the stain is on the actual fabric, I would buy an upholstery cleaner and massage it in a circular motion over the stain with a washcloth. Then wipe away the excess cleaner to remove it from the shoe. The upholstery cleaner may at first leave a spot where the stain was, but it should disappear within 30 minutes.

for UGGS, just take them to the cleaners. Dry cleaners deal with such stuff on suede and leather all the time.

i bought a protector at dsw for my uggs, but they also have cleaners. or you can just use cool water and a paper towel and they should be fine.

im basic training we used rubbing alcohol to remove salt stains from our leather combat boots, gross but its hot in san antonio and we did lots of sweating
