Blog is short for Weblog. It is similar to an online journal or diary. It is largely text-based, so it's easy to update and maintain-even if you have no experience running a Web site. However, you can add photos files to any entry for emphasis and decoration, or even create a photo only entry.

A blog is like on your 360 or myspace and other sites that you may have a profile on, it is to tell a story, or tell what is going on, or update, things that you have been blogging on for a long time. You can write any thing in your blog, and your friends can see it and others who may go to your page, just searching the web.
One more thing, just don't make them as boring as i do LOL

Basically it's an online journal or place on a website for a person to pontificate to their hearts desire about anything. & hopefully, someone out there cares enough to read it.
