I am using this laptop i just got, and i never had this problem before
so i am using the internet and if i go to places like yahoo it works just fine, so i acess my university website it works fine
however if i am using my laptop at that university it does not work
i used both IE and firefox
the same thing goes for places like Jamglue.com
I can't use Jamglue.com at home but i can use it at School
what is the problem?

I have no idea why the previous person said it was DNS - that stand for Domain Name System, and would be irrelevant. It sounds like you are having connectivity issues with your wireless connection. If Jameglue, or the school site is up, it's up - DNS issues don't start and stop randomly. Servers can have problems, but since it sounds like it's based on location rather than time of day or any other variable, I would bet on your wireless network connection.

This could occur due to a firewall preventing you from accessing when you sre in college, or check for proxy settings

That should not be happening, cause i have a laptop, and it works anywhere i go, so you might want to have it checked out Cause yes it is wierd.
