A blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order.
Blogs often provide commentary or news on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual although some focus on photographs (photoblog), sketchblog, videos (vlog), or audio (podcasting), and are part of a wider network of social media.
The term "blog" is derived from "Web log." "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

I'm pretty sure it's short for a "web log"
It's basically just a journal that people can post on the internet for everybody to read. Sometimes it's just about what they did that day, something interesting that happened, or oftentimes about their feelings, but they don't want to directly tell their friends, so they just post a blog about it.

A blog is like an internet mag about a topic, or a diary. Social networking is any website that you connect with people, like facebook. IM means instantaneous message. e-mail is piece of e-mail. acquire is a few thing that is not any longer initially on your pc, yet is being aquired or "downloaded" from the internet to ur pc. Porn is eye sweet haha. You sound like a pc n00b (which means neophyte or amateur)
