If I'm not mistaken, "comfort fit" is how the band is cut and filed--instead of there being a sharp edge, the edges of the band are rounded over, so the ring won't dig into the fingers. It may reduce the amount of stuff he gets it caught on, but no guarantees. I'd recommend a lower karat ring (the alloy will be stronger), or a nontraditional metal such as stainless steel or titanium. The harder metal will make it less likely for him to damage the ring.

Yes, as previous poster stated a comfort fit is more of a rounded edge instead of the once popular 'stamped' edge. It is extremely comfortable comparitively.

Now, since you don't tell us your honey's profession regarding working with his hands I do wish to have a caution regarding titanium. It is a terrific alternative metal; however I work in the ER and we have had to cut off way too many on men who work in industry, and mechanics, and the equipment utilized to remove it is very clumsy...titanium is damn hard to cut; we've at times had to weld it off! ....There again the titanium band did save a finger once... oh well.

But do be conscientious of the band as you are and it may turn out that he can not wear the band often for safety reasons. For an alternative perhaps incorporate a piece of the metal, either precious or non-trad into a small pendant/coin piece with engraving of perhaps both of your initials and wedding date on the back with a necklace.

Comfort fit wedding bands are made with more metal, they are shaped on the inside so that it won't pinch his finger in any way. They are worth the extra money, but only if your fiance intends to wear the ring. Because of his work, he may not feel comfortable with the ring on his finger. (He could damage the ring, or worse, it could get caught on something and he could risk losing the finger.) If that's the case, he can wear the ring on a necklace, tucked under his shirt.

If you cut a cross section of a standard ring it would look similar to a D that is flat against the skin and rounded on the outside. If you cut a comfort fit it would look like a foot ball standing on end. That is rounded on both the outside and the inside. I am buying one for my husband for our 30th Anniversary. He has practically worn his old one out. It will be more comfortable. If he work with power tool he may need to remove it during work hours. Congratulations I wish you all the happiness we've had.

convenience in high-quality condition. My fiancee's promise ring is a convenience in high-quality condition and he definitely loves it. He had tried on some customary ones yet he did no longer like the texture to them. He loves the hoop I chosen, and he wears it proudly popular. you may additionally ask your hubby-to-be if he has a call.
