They just did but be assured they have to bring her back or they will have killed a number one show in the process. I am sure they are loving this right now. they have everyone hooked into watching next weeks show no matter what. Don't be surpised if they have to let Ellis die to save her though. Remember Meredith has power of attorney on her mother and Meredith is unconscious. Ellis may be the one to send Meredith back from the beyond. Preston may lose her on the table.

NO, I HOPE NOT!! I don't think so because she is the main protagonist of the show and it would be DUMB if the writers kill her...there would be no "Grey's Anatomy"
they are just keeping us in suspense ;)

no, she is a major part of the show. McDreamy, christina, izzie, greorge (hell all the characters) wood be depressed if she dies. I dont think they wood "kill" her. She'll see to the light at the end of the tunnel and pull through. (HOPEFULLY)
