Go to your local M.A.C. counter and chat up any girl who's sporting the 'emo' look. M.A.C. shadows are high-pigment, so they actually show up on your face (a little goes a long way--well worth the money!) and stick around for a long time. Avoid the teen-oriented and natural-oriented makeup lines like Clinique and Origins, as these tend to be sheer and won't help you achieve the look you want. Also, invest in some very good brushes for blending and ask for tips for catching 'messes' (dark shadow dusts can smear easily).
Other brands of makeup to look at: Shiseido (made for gold-toned skin), Tony & Tina, Urban Decay, Lorac, and Chanel. I'm pretty sure all of these are available at Sephora.

You look pretty already, but if you want the emo look, buy some dark make up and then just apply it. Black will appear anyhow on your skin the only way it cant is if you were black like the sky. My friend is emo and black, so i would know. it doesnt matter what the eye shadow is called, just get some black..

perhaps you're putting too a lot on. Or attempt using it in trouble-free terms on your water line. (actual lower than your eyeball, one which moist line actual in the previous your epidermis) Black eyeliner shouldn't look emo if that is utilized precise. till that is too darkish on your epidermis tone. once you've gentle eyes and a gentle complexion, attempt switching to a lighter eyeliner, like darkish brown. Or attempt colored eyeliners. ORR.. tell them to close up and end being so extreme of your eyeballs lol And ask them how wearing black eyeliner makes you look EMOtional?! Do they even understand what emo is?

Try dark colored eye shadow.. I'm mixed also, what I do when I wear dark colored eye shadow like black for example is to just put a little bit on instead of caking it on your eyes.. its never good to put to much black on and look like you got beat up lol good luck!
oh and Macys will help you with make up if you go to a make up counter and ask

Eyes- Very very black eye shadow and do it from the layer where you close your eyes. and try to curve it.
