Usually you can take it to a bank, they will charge a small fee, but as long as you have i.d. it shouldn't be a problem.

There are check cashing places that will charge you fee, but should be able to cash the check. If you open a bank account, you usually only need to deposit $100 and they will cash the rest of the check for you. Sometimes local liquor stores will cash the check if you buy something, just ask them. We even have a lot of the momma and papa grocery stores that will cash those checks for you.

teh first thing is is it over 1000 dollars if so open an account it will clear and you can acess it in 24 to 48 hours if not cash it for a 3 dollar fee at wal mart or your local grocrey store good luck and enjoy i suggest you use some to open a small account say 20 dollars or 40 dollars that way when your taxes come around next year you can put them right in there via direct deposit and have them without having to worry about cashing them

Most banks will cash it, they take your thumb print. You can go to a check-cashing place, like Amscot. Or you can sign it over to someone and they can cash it @ their bank.
