Ryan Adams...by far. He's a genius.
If thats not your style, try Jack Johnson. They're both kinda mellow I guess if you pick the right songs.
I don't know if they're considered rock..but who knows, you may like them! Ryan has great lyrics.

well um theres free bird by lynard skynard its the toughest guitar solo ever writin its in the world record book umm the acoustic version of fce down by the red jumpsit apperatus is good 2 oh and stairway to heaven by led zepplin

I have the best Album for yOU!!!! its called " my heart will always be the b-side to my tongue" by Fall Out Boy...its all Acoustic Rock and is very flowy and nice..i love it on rainy days and sleeples nights
