I'm wondering if there are any other banks or credit unions that offer on line accounts including checking accounts other then Netbank. Thanks!

ING Direct does not have info on their website for checking accounts at this time.

I'm looking for an account that I can open with a small deposit (~$50-250) from my home without having to goto a local branch, send checks into the bank through the mail, and get all of my statements on-line.

Since I live in the U.S. it needs to have a branch in this country and follow all the U.S. banking laws. It also shouldn't require direct deposit because I'm self employed and thus don't have a paycheck to direct deposit.

Nexity Bank has good rates and customer service.

They let you use anyone's ATM and reimburse any charges (a certain number per month)

Free postage to mail deposits.

Free online billpay.

I like it better than NetBank.

There are many good online checking accounts - even local banks offer that option but, have you seen Everbank? http://www.everbank.com/main.asp?affid=eb
