If you checked with a doctor and as he/she said not unconscious or vomiting the little one should be just fine. Babies fall they are pretty tough, mine use to pole vault out of the crib..lol..best of luck...

Your bed is 5 FEET high? Are you sure? That's like a bunkbed/loft. A typical bed frame with mattress/box spring is more like 2 feet high. While it's unlikely that a baby would die if she fell from a normal bed onto carpeting, it's certainly possible. Or she could get hurt. When co-sleeping it's actually safest to have baby sleep towards the edge of the bed rather than between you -- the risk from falling is smaller than the risk of hubby rolling into her. (YOU won't roll onto her, but daddy could.) I'd keep her towards the outside edge, and if you're concerned about the fall should she roll off, put some pillows down on the floor. (Don't use a body pillow on the bed -- that's a smothering risk.)

i agree with the 1 st answer that was more or less my answer. if the doc says hes find than he probably is. if your unsure about the doc get a second opinion. it wont hurt anything.but if the doc was thuro i wouldn't worry to much as long as the baby isn't showing sign of anything unusual

No I would say not cause my daughter fell backwards out of the bed in 1976 and she is normal today, I would say your baby.s fever is from teething and nothing ekse

I would doubt it. How high is your bed? Kids fall all the time. Did he land on his head? I would doubt if the fever is from the fall..

If you trust your pediatrician then no, if you dont trust him/her then get a second opinion. However, children have alot of head injuries, and if you took him/her to dr. right away I would say you avoided any problems.
