Do you believe that all a person needs to become a genius is hard work and dedication or were they predestined when they were born to have the right genes and mental capacity to accomplish those task.

I think a genius is born a genius. But I also believe that hard work and determination will bring alot to ones life.*

predestined. this is an easy question...i think it's obvious...well, to me anyways. that is not to say that people who are not geniuses can't be extremely successful and intelligent. and in fact...most geniuses have social/mental issues anyways...and they are only good at certain things, while totally lacking in others. who really wants to be one?? i watched a news program once that explain geniuses as a type of medical mistake...like a wacked out gene.

Do you know that we only use a small percentage of our brain to function? If we use it to its full capacity, we will all be genius.

bit of both. if you have no natural knack for hand-eye coordination or are tone deaf, you won't make as good of a musician as someone who is naturally more suited for hearing differences between notes or making tiny , accurate finger movements.

Environment and upbringing could definitely be a major factor. You can't rule that out.

i believe each of us were designed for a specific purpose....the ones that find that purpose....excell....and are sometimes called genius
