It really depends on the skin shade. Try getting a French Manicure set for her! If you don't think she'll like that, just get a
*gold brown shade if she is black but light skinned/indian/ mexican
*pale pink if she is white and pale
*red for a white/asian girl

I like light frosted shades. Try getting one in a pearl or pink color.

There is this awesome color by OPI called 'I'm Not Really A Waitress'--it's a shimmery crimson red. It looks good on ANY skin tone.
