I encourage you to put down "human" on any form that asks for race.

Dr.Billy Graham was asked,"what do you consider to be the no#1 problem facing the world today"? He said: "Racial Issues".If society had nothing to argue about they would invent something, like not wanting a double-wide placed next door.It would be nice if everyone could live in peace and harmony, but that is wishful thinking. It's like that Governor in Texas who wanted to outlaw the "N" word and was told he could not do it.Why?Freedom of Speech,is why.Our founding fathers were geniuses,to have had the forethought to head off problems that would come from a free society.People are going to say and do whatever they want to even if it is wrong. That's American. We can only hope that they are educated enough to know what they are saying without prejudice.Sometimes that is impossible.I like your question and truely wish things were that simple, but I am afarid it is not.I also think it is funny that someone would say that Indians are the only "true Americans",who were living on this land before America had a name,I wonder if they would have named it America?Great Question,no simple answer.Peace!!!

Because the true American is Native Indian..... So everyone has a color and race...

i think you have a good point with the color, buti dont tink people would want to be completely american and lose teir...'public' heritage....because thats where they come from and theyre probably proud of it.
remember, heritage and ancestory dont necessarily mean color.

No, I don't have a problem with that and I agree with you wholeheartedly. With job recruiting or school admissions they should evaluate the individual's qualifications and not even look at their last name or ethnicity.

i think it's awesome. we scratched in "pasty" and "clear" on my son's school enrollment forms!

figured they need to know my kid needed extra sunscreen for his nose at recess, and beyond that was none of their business.
