As the rest of the world is not Hindi and does not speak Urdu and few are exposed to Indian popular culture , the answer must be NO
5 billion times over.
Everyone I speak to finds Bollywood music/films extremely annoying to see/hear.
The best that can be said is that the dance routines are very comical and the (girl) dancers are yummy, and of course they are all so very, very cheap!
Acting is non existent and the songs are monotonous, only the best parts are reserved for the higher castes in this most racist of countries and my best guess is that Bollywood will still be turning out the same old rubbish in 50 years time.
Probably best avoided unless your mother in-law is also a Bollywood fan.............sad...........

I do like some Bollywood films but the problem is that they are SO long. A really good one was Devdas. Aishwarya Rai did a US one called Bride and Prejudice. Bhangra is alright too. The song that sticks out in my mind is Mundian To Bach Ke by Punjabi MC. You'll probably know it as the Knight Rider song. You can hear it here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLeUnINuxl0

Bollywood films are irritating to the eyes while the songs are irritating to the ears. Maybe its a culture thing. I am not from India

Never saw or heard one. I'd watch one though if it was available and if Shilpa Shetty was in it, then I'm sure I'd like it.
