It is possible but it is far, far too early to tell how the elections are going to go at this point. I'm sure as time goes along each possible candidate will rise and fall in the polls. People are fickle. The same thing will happen with the Democrats and it will be difficult if not impossible to see which candidate each party will put forth until the actual results of the primaries are known.

I am hoping another candidate will come along that represents my values and has earned my trust.
But when the choice is Obama, Clinton, McCain or Giuliani, it's more of a he's better than the others vote. Not a I support him 100%.
Though, in primaries, I'll be voting Mitt Romney all the way. But I don't know if he'll have enough support to make it to the November 2008 ballot.

Don't count on it. I think Giuliani is just picking up the supporters that are peeling off from McCain- because of his backing of Bush & the war. The Conservatives haven't yet decided who they're going to vote for yet. They want a winner, but all their choices are currently polling in the single numbers...

The polls are backed by someone big so I wouldn't necessarily go by what they dictate. That's what happens every election have a look at their backgrounds and positions. How does he stand on border security? The two border patrol agents thrown in jail? There are only a handful that I know of going against this grave injustice.

Not hardly....Giuliani is out of his league trying to run the entire country. He only got fame as a MAYOR because of a terrorist attack on his watch. Would you vote for that idiot in New Orleans for Prez just because he didn't get it right during Hurricane Katrina?

He picked up alot of support due to the arab terrorist attack on 9/11? He was thorough and had many supporters in New York they probably think he could carry New York better than Hillary?
I think that is sick any way you slice it? He is another sell out in big business I would hate a president from New York! Efficient yes but heartless as hell!

They're going to pin their hopes, if they had any brains, on a smaller government, strong defense, lower taxes candidate. And Rudy fits that bill.

Well, McCain is old and he may not be popular enough to make it. Mitt Romney hasn't really defined himself to the American people. It's simply too early to decide right now. If there's one thing we learn from history, it's that anything can happen.

I doubt it. It's VERY early. 4 years ago, the "conventional wisdom" was that Dean would be the Dem nominee.
