excuse me???? if you look at your own questions, in one of them you named my answer as the best. although all i did was agree with you because you answered your own question, if you hadnt i would of given a thorough explanation to my answer.
and for your information, i have been a basketball fan for as long as i can remember and i play it too... AND SHOCKINGLY YES I AM A GIRL. i'm on the basketball section answering questions all the time... just look at my profile and you'll see that most of my best answers come from the basketball questions. not all of us girls give stupid answers because if you believe it or not there are a lot out there who do know a thing or two about sports.
oh and if you dont want to see dumb answers, then dont post dumb questions like this one.

This is not the way to win friends. I have seen some really dumb answers from the guys. Frankly I will only answer basketball questions because that is the only sport I am interested in and that I have knowledge of. Have a good day.

Let's see, so far I have about 24 best answers. 75% of those answers are picked from sports questions. I always back my answers up, give sources, and explain thoroughly. Unfortunately I can't say the same for a lot of the guys that answer the same questions that I do.
Actually I think that girls tend to give better answers to sports questions because most of the girls I've seen posting answers in sports categories answer like they have something to prove. Therefore they tend to be more articulate and thorough when answering.
Granted there's always a few girls who have some wayward answers, but they are by far outweighed by the idiotic answers a lot of guys have given to questions. It also seems like the girls are some of the few who attempt to use the really convenient spell check button. I don't want to read your answer if I have to use Ebonics to decode it.

Not always. This girl gave the perfect explanation for the answer, when I was about to write. Girls can be very interested in sports, only if they are. It's just that the percentage of girls that watch sports are low.

Cos girls are only good at dumb sports that no one cares about. Although i finally saw a chick dunk in a bball game the other day which made the game midly interesting.

Not too many chicks are interested in sports. I myself am so i think my answers would be half decent. Especially if hockey related
