i need help on weather to pick a PS3 or a wii (help)

Hey I have three systems and the wii is a better system to get over a PS3 mostly because they dont have great games out yet. For a PS3 I would wait till around this time 2008 or in October before the christmas rush for them. The wii you will have to wait to find one or you can buy one on ebay if your willing to pay a little bit extra like I had to do. The wii has great games out and that are coming out in the near future. You can download old games which is an amazing feature which I love the most about the system. You can play all gamecube games which is great if you have a great collection of games for it. The motion senoring is great but sometimes it is a little sketchy but it is something you can live with. Controllers are amazingly comfortable and fit like a glove. One recremanzation if your going to get a wii I would buy a NIntendo Wi-Fi USB connector because you can connect to the internet faster and download items a lot faster. Have Fun with the system you choose =D

let me break it down for you dude. PS3 blows.... Wii is really cool but the BIG titles might not see the light of day on the Wii. developers might only release them for 360 and PS3. PS3 is overpriced. Youll get the same games like grand theft auto 4 on both systems. Now heres why 360 BLOWS AWAY the ps3..
1. Almost every game on the 360 is online multiplayer compatible so if you get xbox live you can play your favorite games with other peeps from around the world.
2. Original and Classic game revival on 360. Xbox live arcade is a place you can go on your 360 to download games for a small fee. arcade titles from the 80's and totally original games are all there for the downloading. Its great!!!!
3. If 1 and 2 arent enough for you...youll save 200 bucks.

It's a matter of opinion. I would go with a Wii simply because the launch line up of games is good, it's in my price range, and it's pretty accessible for my whole family with Wii Sports.
The PS3 has been criticized for its high price and lack of good games, but if track record has any bearing within a year or two PS3 owners will have a huge list of awesome games to pick up, and the graphics are certainly mind boggling.
So... I guess Wii now, but if you wait the PS3 will be worth it.

Wii the games are more fun. The PS3 only has one good game Resistance Fall of Man. The PS3 is not worth it right now wait for it to lower it's price or for a good game.

GET WII DUDE IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!
They have pretty cool games out right now, but what we are all waiting for are the realease dates of Super Mario: Galaxy and Super Smash Brothers: Brawl.These are like the best games ever mkade and the wii is cheap and way easier to find than the PS3.

I guess I am going to disagree. I really didn't like the Wii. I personally don't want to have to swing my arm around in order to swing my sword in the Legend of Zelda, and so on. I prefer to just push buttons. I know PS3's are expensive, but I think the PS3 is more up my alley.

wii i have super fun you can email on it read the news and weather and look at the globe from satelittle images and the games are awesome and the movement is annyoing in a few games but the ps 3 is horrbiile. My friend has in about 2hrs of playing it was over heated and wont work anymore. The wii has slight heating problems it gets a but hot but nothing that will do damage.

**** man, i got an xbox 360, wii looks fun but they dont have so many great games out right know, its got zelda and red steel, but ps3 is kinda the smae way, call of duty and fall of man (btw i heard fall of man wasnt all that great, just a hype) i would go for the wii

it depends the WII is for the more casual gamer looking to just mess around
The ps3 is for the more hardcore gamer who wants high energy and extremly high detail games
