Yes, I sure do. Life is soooo much better with all of this new technology. I love my cell phone, it has gotten me out of a bind several times. One time in particular. I was working the night shift. I worked a little over time one night. The staff parking lot was close to empty when I left work. I had to walk across a dim lit parking lot to get to my car. When I got there I saw that some one had flattened not one but both of my back tires. If I didn't have my cell phone I would have had to walk back across the same dim lit parking lot to get security and to use the office phone to call my AAA Insurance Co. Another time my car quit on me on a lonely country road. Again, Cell Phone to the rescue. I still have some old cassettes, they sound horrible after listening to my cd's. Mercy, I remember the old 45 records and 33 1/2 albums! They use to get so scratched up you could barely make out the music. I don't think I could survive with dial-up Internet any more. Since I have had high speed Internet, I don't have the patience I use to have. I wonder what's next? You can rest assured your children will be wondering how we managed to get by with these useless gadgets.

I know exactly what you mean. I tried escaping it too but i never can. If you don't want to have a facebook or cellphone people think your weird so you have to have it. I wish i was born in a different era or at least a few decades ago when things weren't so fast paced

Something better always comes up and we do not want to part with it. This "age of convenience" has made our lives richer and easier. Yes, to think it was only a few years ago when life isn't wired like today.

the tapes rewindings, the non digital camera, the laser disc, yep, i certainly remember those days where i would casually smash my ex-boyfriends beepers everytime we had a fight!! i love each time i did it. Nowadays, its the cell phones that usually get smashed up.

Yes and I don't think the world can manage with out it. I know we had a black out here in Illinois not long ago and no one could give change or take money. they ran generators to run the register.

Don't you miss the eight track tapes and AM radio while watching all three stations on tv.

Yeah, I remember it, but not fondly. I am not crazy for the cell, but I sure do like my highspeed internet!
