I know this is a far-fetched idea, but do you think that George's character might be brought out as gay on the show? Between the talk he and his father had with each other before he died, and now everything that Izzie said tonight...plus all the media coverage of what happened with Isaiah Washington & T.R. Knight...Just wondering...

I don't think the writers are going in that direction. Otherwise, why would they have George and Callie get married? I know some of the interns thought George was gay in the first season, and maybe they were going to do that at the beginning. But, I think they will keep going with the marriage storyline.

George is in his buck wild i like sex with women stage.
If anything they are going to have him sleep with Izzie and cheat on Callie in the process, the dog.
It wouldn't surprise me a bit to have him give Izzie the bonus plan.
That may be what breaks his marriage up.
But No, they are not going to make George gay. Peston possibly but not George. Consider it Penance.

I kinda wish they would, but I doubt it. They seem to be casting him as the "safe" guy among the interns, the guy female viewers think is sweet and cute yet safe--not as sexualized as the other guy characters. A kind of Clay Aiken character.
If they did out him, I think it would be cool--for once, an actual gay actor would be playing a gay character.

no. i think its a little to far-fetched, george is married 2 kali. notice when she had the little boy on the operating table how happy he was! there not going 2 show him as gay on the show.

No, not to me. There seems to be a lot of unfinished business between him and the female characters to really worry about him being gay.

it sounds a little far fetched....in this day an age homosexuality is such an accepted lifestyle that if he was going to be gay his character would have started that way.....but then again you just never know.....i suppose we will just have to keep on watching...

No, definitely not. I think the point is that it is rare that a gay actor who is "out" play a straight person, so is cool in that way. I do not think they will mess with that.
