I was wondering if it might be a fuse, or is there something that needs to be reset because of the battery change.

i own a shop,and if the key was on ,during this time there's a possibility it might have blown a fuse for it,also make sure the climate control is turned on ,this will make it not come on,it has to be something simple ,they just don't stop working from changing battery's,good luck,i hope this help,s.

Check the fuse.

sure check the fuse that is the simplest thing so thats the point to start at.
