Try this,which I've been using for myself.

For glowing skin(external remedy):

Mash strawberries,papaya,pineapple and powdered kaolin clay(from your local health-food store) into a thick paste and pour into a bowl.
Add brown sugar;mix to make an exfoliant.
Gently rub this "smoothie" all over your face,onto dry skin in circular motions.Rinse well and towel dry.

*Payoff: Pineapple & papaya have exfoliating enzymes that soften your skin.The strawberry seeds & sugar are natural grainy sloughers,while clay will draw out dulling impurities.
You can also add some oatmeal if you like!

Enjoy & good luck,hon!

Try honey with almond meal: it's a soft-textured scrub and the honey apparently does something good to your skin.
For a very fine-textured scrub, use ground rice (the type you use for baby porridge and shortbread). I use about two teaspoons of ground rice with about a teaspoon of honey and enough water to make a slightly gloopy paste. I find that fine textured scrubs used gently work best as coarse ones tend to inflame the skin.

Oatmeal - make a paste and heat up in micro for 10 secs, let cool, apply to face with fingertips, let dry (about 10-15 min) rub off with fingertips then rinse in hot water then cold. I've been doing it for 3 years every 3 days and I swear I look younger

I like to take a bit of plain yogurt, mix with honey, and crushed oatmeal and put it on my face for 15-20 minutes. It lightly moisturizes and takes off dead skin. Doesn't seem to bother acne either--I heard honey was good for acne.
