Do you have a password set on your Admin account? If you don't, you cannot log onto it remotely.

Your question is not descriptive enough for me to give you any more information. What service are you trying to connect to? I'm assuming that it's either VNC or Remote Desktop, but that's a guess. If you're using a web server, check out the error log that it generates and it'll tell you some information about what's generating the 500 error. You'll have to search for the specific web server you're using (Apache, IIS, SunOne, etc). If the logging is not turned on or high enough, you can usually make it log more information.

the default IP address for routers is... 192.168.1.1 ...put that into your web browser and a log on screen should come up... type administrator on top... and password on the bottom... this should allow you to get into your router settings and port foward... but to port foward and do everything you need to is a hard job... it took me forever to figure out how to do it...

Port Forwarding is done in the router...

You'll need to log in to the router admin page... details will be in the documentation for your router, but it's usually at 192.168.1.1, or something close.
Then you'll need the admin user and password, which you should know from when you set it up.

An "eternal error"... that sounds like bad news! :-)
